Three collections of digitized Maine newspapers have been uploaded to the Internet Archive, and each may be searched using this interface:
- Bangor Daily Whig and Courier (1837-1900) — 14,103 issues published prior to its merger with the Bangor Daily News.
- Bethel Newspapers (courtesy of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society) — 4,900 issues of the Bethel Courier (1858-1861), Bethel News (1895-1908), Rumford Citizen (1906-1908), and Oxford County Citizen (1908-1985).
- Maine Farmer (1833-1900) — 3,488 issues, published in Winthrop (and Hallowell for a short time), and then in Augusta.
