Three collections of digitized Maine newspapers have been uploaded to the Internet Archive, and each may be searched using this interface:
- Bangor Daily Whig and Courier (1837-1900) — 14,103 issues published prior to its merger with the Bangor Daily News.
- Bethel Area Newspapers (courtesy of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society) — 6,564 issues of the Bethel Courier (1858-1861), Bethel News (1895-1908), Rumford Citizen (1906-1908), and Oxford County Citizen (1908-2016).
- Maine Farmer (1833-1900) — 3,488 issues, published in Winthrop (and Hallowell for a short time), and then in Augusta.
- Norway Newspapers (courtesy of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society) — Issues of the Oxford County Advertiser (1882-1887, 1890-1902) and Norway Advertiser (1902-1933).
- Paris Newspapers (courtesy of the Museums of the Bethel Historical Society) — Issues of the Oxford Observer (1824-1832) and Oxford Democrat (1833-1849, 1922-1924).
