Boundary Changes
A gore called the Thirty-Mile Strip was annexed in 1809
Land was set off to Winthrop in 1810
Part of Wayne was annexed in 1821
Parts of Mount Vernon were annexed in 1825 and 1845, and land was set off to that town in 1845
Land was set off to form Kennebec (now Manchester) in 1850, additional land was set off to that town in 1852, and parts of Kennebec were annexed in 1852 and 1854
