1875 as Pleasant Ridge Plantation, and again in 1878; successor to former plantation organized in 1895

Boundary Changes

Land was set off to Concord (now Concord Township) in 1829, and annexed from the same in 1860

The south half of the plantation was set off and organized as Granville Plantation in 1878; deorganized and reannexed in 1879
