1852 as Moose River Plantation for election purposes, together with Sandy River Township and T4 R2 NBKP (now Moose River)
Reorganized
1859 as Jackmantown Plantation, multiple-township plantations having been abolished; reorganized for election purposes as Jackman in 1894; successor to the former plantation organized and the organization confirmed and made valid in 1895
